At the heart of it all, we at Studiokel seek to produce beautiful, candid and meaningful images that become a part of your family’s most treasured possessions, whilst contributing to the needs of other families.
Each year, Studiokel commits to gifting at least 4 Pro-bono Gratuity Shoots (one per quarter) – for families who needs beautiful images, no strings attached.
Why? We feel so blessed! Blessed with a loving family, blessed to live in an awesome community and blessed to be doing what we love for a living. For these reasons, Studiokel gives back by supporting families and children in Singapore and the international community, who don’t have the same opportunities as we do and who are often faced with challenges many of us never have to face.
If you have received a complimentary or subsidised session from Studiokel, and would like to recognise all our hard work by making a gratuity payment, we would immensely grateful! Your payment will be donated to the charity adopted by Studiokel.
Who do we donate to? Every year end, Studiokel donates all net proceeds of any gratuity payments to charity. Since 2014, Studiokel has adopted 2 charities: (1) ARC Children’s Centre, a non-profit organisation in Singapore devoted to nurturing and enriching the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses; and (2) Epilepsy Care Group (Singapore) promoting awareness and support to persons with the oft-misunderstood condition of epilepsy. You’ll be assured that your gratuity payment to Studiokel will go a long way at ARC & ECG.
How much gratuity is appropriate?
There is no obligation whatsoever to make a gratuity payment. That said, we do get some families who wish to pay-it-forward and make a contribution for the shoot that they received. If you are happy with Studiokel’s gifted / subsidised shoot to you, and wish to show your gratitude, we welcome any gratuity payment of any amount your heart desires. We will make sure every penny counts.
What happens to each gratuity payment?
On 31 March each year, Studiokel makes an annual donation to our adopted charities.
All gratuity payments gathered by Studiokel in the preceding year will be compiled and donated, IN FULL, to either Epilepsy Care Group (Singapore) or ARC Children’s Centre.
And just so the goodness is shared, if you wish, we are happy to circulate the charities’ thank you letter to you.
